My Story

Hi! Welcome to my little corner of the literary world! 

Hi there! I’m Devra Reed and I’m a copyeditor and proofreader. I specialize in editing within the mental health space, as well as cozy fiction works, nonfiction, and online content. 

Since I was a child, reading has been an escape as well as a way to connect with others. That love for reading and a deep interest in how stories are formed — along with continuous study and completing an editing course — provided me with the skills to help others with writings in various forms over the years.

Beyond the Pages

When I’m not immersed in a good book (faves are cozy mysteries, rom-coms, history, historical fiction, and the classics, as well as nonfiction works), or watching one of my favorite shows, you can find me cheering on one of my two sons at their sporting events, spending time with my family and/or friends, or behind the lens of a camera capturing the beauty of nature. These moments of family, relaxation, and creativity help to keep my mind sharp, and my wit sharper!
